      I did my research in this field before taking the plunge, Mark is, by all means, in a league of his own and a pioneer in this craft.  It is evident that Mark is very passionate and skilled at what he does.  This is the type of person you want to have working on you.  In fact, I will be returning to Mark for some other custom work in the near future.

 

     PROS:  (1)  Very little discomfort, in fact I almost dosed-off a couple times. (2)  Little redness, which mostly subsided by the next day.  (3)  Great communication and explanation throughout the entire process by both Mark and Gale.  (4)  No one could tell I had it done.  They just thought I had stopped razoring my head.   (5)  Overall office was very well kept, clean and professional.  CONS:  This really has nothing to do with Artistry Concepts.  Local accommodations are not all that great, unless you want to stay by the beach, which could get pricey.  I stayed at the Veranda Inn, I would recommend requesting the 3rd floor. It appeared to have been upgraded a little with new carpeting and looked and smelled relatively clean. Nevertheless, It is a pretty old Inn, so don't expect much.

O., Toronto, Canada     BEFORE:  I spoke with you and Mark last week.  I'm in a desperate situation right now and would like your immediate help with correcting what was done so far and complete the micropigmentation job properly, your professional way.  I'm in a half baked situation now, with my scalp half tattooed, some stubble hair on top and my sides and back are long, I have to wear a cap and it's affecting my social and business life. 

    

     AFTER:  I received a great feedback from my wife and kids, and even at work !!! People tell me it suits me and makes me look younger.  I would like to thank you and Mark for the great work you have done, basically taking it from a disaster look to a more than acceptable finish and the fact I can go to work without a cap tells all the whole story.  Mark is a real pro and I wish he could have done my hair from scratch but that's what it is.
    NOTE:  While the corrected result is much better than the initial deplorable "copycat" result, the client is not fully able to take advantage of the complete ACHM™, as this was a correction and not an initial ACHM™ procedure.  The client has since buzzed his hair closer for a more natural transition.

 

 

N. E., Illinois  As far as the ACHM goes I love the results.  I sat at the family Thanksgiving table and my sister told me she loved my new hairstyle.   Nobody is able to tell, and I just tell people that I stopped shaving my head.   

G. P., Los Angeles, California    I wish to God that I had done this prior to going for an HT. I look at the top of my head, though still swollen, and I see how I imagined my hair would look each time I shelled out 10k/HT, only to find myself heartbroken by the results...But not this time.  My older scars covered beautifully.  The newer one. just over seven months, was pink before I went in and probably will still be for another few months because it isn't totally healed.  The verdict is out on that one, anyone who had seen that scar knows that it was an uphill battle from the start.  Mark, the artist, spent nearly a day and a half on my head.  Not, Mark and three of his techs, just Mark.  This was a new experience for me.  I've been through three HT's and in all these, I vividly remember waking up and the doctor not being in the room.  Mark said that he doesn't trust anyone else to do the work, because of the patience that it takes to do it the way that it needs to be done.  For that I am very grateful.

      Does it look like DermMatch? No. He uses his own specially designed needles to recreate actual follicles. You've probably been to the Artistry Concepts’ site and will see what I'm talking about. I saw pictures of patients from other studios and it looked like a fifth grader's spray paint project.  Will he do lines instead of dots? Yes, but doesn't recommend it. I was pushing for it and got talked out of it. At this point I am grateful.  Does it hurt? Yes. Is it excruciating? No. If you have even a relatively good pain tolerance it is more than doable. It feels like a tattoo on any other part of your body (likened to fingernails running along a sun burn). I don't claim to be immune to pain, but I listened to my headphones as he worked and the distraction was almost enough to relieve the ping of the needle poke.       Cost? You get what you pay for. This procedure is not as cheap as getting your girlfriend's name tattooed on your arm, but less expensive than when you have to go get it removed. The price varies on the area covered, but I can assure you that the utmost time and precision will be taken.
