        ABOUT ACHM™ HAIR REPLICATION

          The Artistry Concepts Hair Replication Center's founder, Mark Weston, personally researched and developed the Artistry Concepts Hybrid Method™ (ACHM™ and ACHM2™ ). Unlike other "similar" procedures, the  ACHM2™ is a uniquely designed “hybrid method” of medical tattooing.  Mark is a 30-year veteran of the tattoo industry; his ACHM2™ is a uniquely designed surgical stainless steel system and specific method of application that truly mimics follicle size with precision and detail which cannot be duplicated by any other providers.  The ACHM2™ uses specially formulated pigments that don't fade or turn blue. It requires no (or seldom) touch ups, and can be called permanent.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT?   Upon arrival, you will be welcomed into a relaxing but highly professional atmosphere. You will consult with the ACHM2™ developer and The Center's founder, Mark Weston.  You will then complete a client questionnaire and the necessary paperwork will be reviewed in with you in full before the commencement of your procedure. Our center does NOT have stations attended by stylists, employees, technicians or trainees in a production-line setting.  The  ACHM2™ is performed in a private procedure room in a sterilized environment and by Mark Weston, not by a permanent cosmetics technician.  We certainly don't want you to feel more self-conscious that you may already be by having a woman perform your private procedure.

      If your hair needs to be cut for this procedure, it will be cut at a different location to maintain a sterilized environment.  Mark Weston will then ascertain your natural hairline and/or redevelop a new hairline for you, depending on your needs and/or request.  By matching your individual skin color, hair growth pattern and hair color with the proper ACHM2™ pigment color and supplies, Mark is able to achieve the closest replication of your hair follicle for the manner in which you wish to wear your hair.  The  ACHM2™ can create your own personal style--looking good on the outside makes you feel good inside!   

HOW DOES ACHM2™ WORK? The ACHM2™ hair replication is achieved by placing micro-points of our own specially-formulated pigments into the skin on the scalp, which will accurately and naturally mimic the density of your natural growth.  The ACHM2™ area extends down into your remaining hairline and blends in to complete a finished and natural look.  The ACHM2™ allows some of your scalp to be visible, exactly like actual follicles.  Your scalp is not shaded like other procedures.  You will be able to wear your hair closely buzzed, or in some cases, at a longer length.  Your own natural hair pigment and follicle size is custom matched and blended in.  It is nearly impossible to detect the re-created ACHM2™  area unless examined by touch.

HOW LONG DOES THE ACHM2™ PROCEDURE TAKE?    On average, the  ACHM2™ replication procedure will take from three to seven hours, depending on the actual hair loss and the area to be blended.  For men who have almost total hair loss, the seven hour time frame may be necessary.  Full Alopecia clients may take as long as 10 hours.  Ninety percent of the ACHM2™   is completed the first day.    With specific overnight care instructions, you return the following day for the final completion.  With our patent-pending  ACHM2™  specific method of application, you will not  develop the excessive swelling to the scalp as other provider's methods do, thereby saving you from having to return weeks later for major touchups.  

WHAT HAPPENS AFTERWARD?   The ACHM2™ healing process is about a week.  Typically, most men heal in as little as three to four days.  The ACHM2™ area will look darker until the full curing process is complete (2 to 4 weeks), and the color will "cure" (not to be confused with fading) a few shades lighter than it initially appears.  You will normally be able to return to your regular schedule the next day, as there is no "down" time.  Better yet, you will not need to return for major touch ups weeks, months or years later with the ACHM2™  permanent method of application.  The ACHM2™ results last a lifetime as we utilize our own permanent pigments (not semi-permanent), provided you don't continually sunburn your scalp.  What's best, you will not have to bear the financial burden of repeated procedures as others offered.  All ACHM2™ procedures are guaranteed for one year, provided the client follows after care instructions (no sunburning).  The only "upkeep" is that it is imperative that you keep your own hair tightly buzzed so the ACHM2™ makes a flawless transition.  In addition, there is no need to spend money on specially prepared expensive aftercare products.
