The ACHM2®
Difference
 |
|
The Difference is Clear..... |
|
| What Makes Artistry
Concepts®
and the ACHM2®
Procedure So Different? |
While this website provides extensive
information on the differences between the
Artistry Concepts®
ACHM2® and other providers' methods, we continue to receive
inquiries regarding the differences. The
ACHM2® is much more than just a
generic term for hair
replication tattoo, hair simulation tattoo
or micro hair tattooing.
This page is
provided so that a clear and concise
understanding of the
technologically-advanced and superior
differences between the ACHM2® and
these other methods.

Weston has 35 years of experience in fine art
tattooing, fifteen years in
micropigmentation, permanent cosmetics and medical
tattooing. We are the only
provider in the world that can claim this
experience. Artistry Concepts® has now
performed over 500 ACHM2® procedures.
|
 |
 |
| Extensive experience in
micropigmenation, permanent cosmetics and
medical tattooing. Weston has mixed
his own pigments for 15 years. |
|
|
The ACHM2® was personally researched, engineered
and developed by Mark A. Weston and not
developed by an outside company or
sub-contractor. The ACHM2® is applied to
the scalp with our own researched, engineered
and designed equipment, machine and needles.
We are the only provider
in the world that has developed such a procedure
and equipment that is so unique that it has been
filed for patenting.

|
Florida State Law
classifies the ACHM2® as
"tattooing," although our process is much
different than ordinary tattooing, permanent cosmetics and
other generic hair tattooing methods.
Other providers
simply use general cosmetic tattooing procedures,
standard digital equipment with standard commercial
needles. The ACHM2® provides the most natural
and smallest replication of hair follicles in this field.
Our needles are 4-5 times
smaller than those of other providers.
The ACHM2® needles are so tiny (measured in microns
not millimeters), they can only be hand made and
assembled in our own lab under a complex system
comprised of a microscope and camera sending the image
to a monitor screen. Actual scalps contain an average
of 1250 follicles per square inch. The ACHM2®
needles replicates 1,000 or more follicles per square inch,
while other providers only replicate approximately 200 per
square inch.
The top right photo was taken
under our lab's microscope and
shows the size of the ACHM2® needle next to
the average human scalp hair. The photo to
the far top right shows the follicle point the
ACHM2® needle makes.
The
lower right photo depicts the standard-issue needles
also next to human scalp hair. These are
the needles that ALL other providers utilize
and term these "special" needles. You
can see in the lower right the "follicle" size that these
commercial needles leave.
Compare both
"points" of these needles; as this
is what
determines the delivery of the "follicle"
size. It is clearly seen that the
standard-issue "special" needles to the
near right for the generic hair
replication tattoo, hair simulation tattoo or micro hair
tattooing are 4-5 times larger than the ACHM2®
needles above.
|

|
The ACHM2®
needle above makes a "follicle" imprint 4-5
times smaller than those of any other
provider's "special needles."
The ACHM2® replicates 1000 or more
follicles per square inch. Microscope enlargement is 800 times. |
|
 |

| All
other providers' use the smallest commercial
"special" needles above (3 round) that leave an overly
large imprint (200 "follicles" per square
inch).
Microscope enlargement is 800 times. |

Featuring the ACHM2® SMART Pigments™ that were painstakingly
developed in our laboratory for use on the scalp only. Like
the ACHM2®, these pigments were developed by Mark Weston of
Artistry Concepts® and not by an outside contracted company,
nor are they generic. These unique pigments are
permanent, but were developed to naturally age with you should
your own hair start to gray in later years.
As Weston has mixed his own
custom pigments for 15 years for tattooing and permanent cosmetics,
he has a proven track record of their
longevity and lasting color. We are the only provider in the world
that has developed our own exclusive line of pigments
specifically for use on the scalp only.
These pigments have been submitted to
the FDA for voluntary registration. |

| Developed from natural powdered
pigments. |
|

| The ACHM2®
SMART Pigments™ have been tested for longevity. |
|
The ACHM2® was developed as a permanent application that
exactly matches your hair type and skin tone with no mandatory
or scheduled routine expensive return visits for touchups.
The ACHM2® is a one-time procedure (over two days) and you are
not required to stay for a week or longer like other methods.
Because the ACHM2® is permanent, you will not
develop the over-pigmentation scarring and discoloration that
eventually occurs in temporary hair tattoo methods.
We are the only provider in the world with the necessary
equipment, supplies and pigments that offers a permanent
procedure. |
 |
 |
Artistry Concepts® has the only two
artists in the world that are capable of applying the micro
precision ACHM2®,
the developer himself, Mark Weston, and his direct
colleague, Robert. You will
never find a permanent cosmetics technician performing the ACHM2®.
These technicians are trained only in the general fundamentals of
semi-permanent cosmetic tattooing and they are unable to obtain the intensive
specific training required for the ACHM2®.
We are the only provider in the world
that has a patent-pending on the ACHM2® application
technique. |
